Dear ULI Ireland members and friends,

I am pleased to say that our organisation in Ireland continues to go from strength to strength. We continue to grow our membership and extend our sphere of influence.

Following the huge success of our fully subscribed first event of the year – a thought-provoking presentation from MEP Ciarán Cuffe on sustainability in the built environment and the rollout of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) in each EU member state – we are excited about the next two events in our calendar.

The first event on 5 March, is in collaboration with the Belfast City & Region Place Partnership and is a must attend event for anyone interested in investment in the Belfast region and exploring the opportunities that exist along the Dublin to Belfast economic corridor. An excellent panel of expert speakers has been assembled.

The second event on 19 April, is a new departure for ULI Ireland – a site visit to Limerick City to explore some key developments and the significant opportunity this historic city offers to occupiers and investors alike.

We hope that you will register to attend both of these Q1 events. Meanwhile, our national council are busy working on an exciting schedule of further events and site visits for Q2 as well as planning for the rollout of a full week of our Urban Plan programme in secondary schools.
