We were delighted to welcome almost seventy ULI Ireland members and guests to the latest ULI Ireland Site Visit, which took place recently at Dublin Port.
The visit commenced with a short presentation by Cormac Kennedy, Head of Property at the Dublin Port Company. Cormac outlined the trading and economic importance of Dublin Port to Ireland. He also presented the master plan for the port lands, its 3FM project, and the measures the port is taking to integrate with Dublin City and provide sustainable, long-term benefits for Dublin residents and businesses throughout the country.
For the second part of the visit, we went on board the MV St. Brigid, where we saw from the water the amazing infrastructure, docks, and ancillary services that allow the port to function effectively. The number of vessels entering and exiting the port during the one-hour tour on board was a testament to how busy the port is.
We would like to thank Cormac Kennedy and the team at the Dublin Port Company for hosting a most interesting, informative, and enjoyable site visit.
